DSE Assessor Service

EssentialSkillz, through a national network of approved third party providers, offer an outsource service, with DSE Assessors available to manage any outstanding DSE related concerns.

Freelance DSE Assessors are supplied to work on site, supplementing your internal resource, assisting them with resolving more complex, higher risk concerns arising from the ErgoWize Risk Assessment.

DSE Assessor Training

EssentialSkillz also offer a DSE Assessor training service (via the same network of suppliers) to organisations who wish to better manage the resolution of DSE concerns in-house by training more people to take up this role.

DSE Assessor training is typically a one day course and will enable nominated assessors to conduct DSE assessments in line with regulations and guidance. This service can be tailored to accommodate organisation specific policy and procedure.

A standard course covers:

  • An introduction to DSE policy
  • Role and responsibilities as a DSE Assessor
  • Understanding the risks associated with the use of DSE
  • Understanding how to resolve DSE concerns
  • Understanding how to manage high risk DSE users

This course can be combined with training on using the administrative functions of ErgoWize, enabling attendees to become both DSE Assessors and system administrators.

Upon completion of the course, delegates receive a certificate of attendence.
